How to connect your charger to the Wi-Fi with the myWallbox app?

Wi-Fi connectivity allows your charger to connect with the Wallbox Cloud, enabling real-time communication between the app and the charger and more importantly, remote device control.

Before starting, please ensure that you have a working Wi-Fi connection available within the range of your charger.

You can use your smartphone as a Wi-Fi hotspot if there is no Internet connection near you.

How to connect your charger to the Wi-Fi

To ensure that the steps below run smoothly, ensure your charger and myWallbox app run the latest available software version (you can check the app version in your Play Store or App Store and the software version in the Release Notes section).

To configure a Wi-Fi connection for your charger, you must first connect to it via Bluetooth, following these instructions.

  1. Log in to the myWallbox app.
  2. Select your charger from the list.
  3. Wait until the Bluetooth connection between your charger and the app is established.
  4. Tap the Settings gear icon.
  5. Go to CONNECTIVITY.
  6. Tap WIFI.
  7. Activate the Wi-Fi feature to display the list of available networks.
  8. Tap your Wi-Fi name, and you will connect to that network automatically, or if it is protected, you will be invited to enter a password before being connected to it.
  9. Once connected, a network icon will appear next to your charger’s name.

Once connected, if you want information about the network, click the “i” icon.
