Pulsar Charger Status LEDs – The colours and meaning

The Pulsar charger, like other Wallbox chargers, has a halo LED that informs its user of its different possible states.

The halo LED can communicate specific information such as charging activity or a possible error. Check out the colours your Pulsar can display and what they mean to help you use your charger optimally.

The colour displayed by the LED matches the colour of the myWallbox app charger control screen.

GREEN (roulette movement) – Initialization mode

Your Pulsar has been initialized and is powering on. The green LED will soon stop his rotating movement and remain still once the initialization process is finished.
GREENReady mode

Your Pulsar is powered on and is ready to use. The LED will remain green until you connect your vehicle or turn your charger off.
TURQUOISEStandby mode

Your vehicle is connected to your Pulsar and communication between both is established. While waiting to complete an action or start the charging process, the LED device remains in this position. This Turquoise LED colour is also displayed when:

– Your vehicle was into a charging session and is now fully charged,
– You paused the charging process through the myWallbox app,
– Your vehicle is waiting for power assignation (Power boost error signalling).
TURQUOISE (blinking)Scheduled charge ready
Your vehicle is connected to your Pulsar and waiting for the scheduled charging session to start.
DARK BLUE (slow blinking)Charging mode

The LED indicator will show a blinking dark blue light once the connection between your charger and your vehicle has been established and the charging process is in progress.
YELLOW Locked mode

Your Pulsar is locked. You can unlock it through the myWallbox app or the portal.
If more than one user is assigned to your charger, it will lock automatically after a few seconds of the absence of any user activity if you have the auto-lock enabled (which is the case by default).
Once the charger is unlocked, it will display the turquoise colour (ready mode). If your charger is waiting for a schedule or a charge, the LED system will blink turquoise colour.
REDError mode

Your charger is in fault mode. Do not try to charge in this condition. The detected problem could emanate from your charger, electric vehicle, or the electric grid system. Contact Wallbox Service so our team can advise you on the best follow-up procedure.
WHITE (high-speed roulette movement)Firmware update

The firmware of your charger is being updated. Do not perform any action during this process or your Pulsar might get damaged.
