In 2021 there will be three times more electric car models in the European market, according to a study by the European Federation for Transport and Environment AISBL.
According to this analysis, automakers are sending a positive signal about the production of electric vehicles (EV) in Europe, but it also states that appropriate policies are needed to boost demand: taxes on vehicles, infrastructure development, etc. Spain will be the third-largest producer of EV in Europe in 2025 if car manufacturers comply with their production plans.
