This option is only available for “PUP1” models. PUP2 models turn off the Pulsar Plus’s LED halo by default in order to meet energy-saving standards. The model of your Pulsar Plus Level 2 charger can be seen on the product sticker on the side of the unit.
The Wallbox chargers’ LEDs are always on by default, but you may need to switch them off for various reasons.
Pulsar Plus (running software version 5.11 or higher) LEDs can be switched off anytime with the myWallbox app.
- Log in to the myWallbox app by filling in your credentials.
- Connect to your charger by Bluetooth and stay close to the charger during all the following steps.
You can only turn the charger’s LED off or on by being connected to the charger via Bluetooth. A pop-up will ask you to switch to a Bluetooth connection if you are connected to your charger via Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth.
- Select your charger in the app.
- Tap the cogwheel icon in the top right corner to access the charger’s settings.
- Tap Advanced options.
- Set the “LED Always on” switch to the off position to turn off the LED. Follow the same step to switch it back on.
- Tap Save.
Once you turn the “LED Always on” switch to the off position, the LED will still be lighting while the action is performed but will turn off after 8 seconds without interaction.
