How to Transfer Charger Ownership in the Wallbox App

The Wallbox app features a convenient charger ownership transfer capability. This feature is exclusively available to Professional Installer account types, allowing qualified electricians to transfer ownership of a commissioned charger to its client and final owner.

Steps to Transfer Charger Ownership

Follow these steps to transfer the ownership of a Wallbox charger:

  1. Log in to the Wallbox App
    • Open the Wallbox app on your mobile device.
    • Use your Installer account credentials to log in.
  2. Finish Commissioning the Charger
    • Complete the necessary commissioning steps for the charger.
  3. Access Transfer Ownership Option
    • Tap the three dots icon at the top right corner of the screen.
    • Select “Transfer Ownership” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the Charger to Transfer
    • Choose the charger you wish to transfer from the list.
    • Tap “Continue” to proceed.
  5. Enter Client Information
    • Input the client and final owner’s email address.
    • Make sure the email address is correct to avoid transfer issues.
  6. Review and Confirm Transfer Details
    • Carefully review the details of the transfer.
    • Tap “Transfer” to initiate the ownership transfer process.
  7. Client Confirmation
    • The final user (client) will receive an email with instructions.
    • They must follow the instructions in the email to complete the ownership transfer and fully own the charger.
