This feature adds a layer of authentication to protect your charger by ensuring only approved devices can connect to it via Bluetooth.<\/p>\n\n<p>Depending on your charger&#8217;s software and model, this PIN can be either a mandatory security requirement or an optional feature.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-is-the-bluetooth-pin-activated-by-default\">1. <strong>Is the Bluetooth PIN activated by default?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>This depends on your charger model and software version:<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-pin-activated-by-default\"><strong>PIN activated by default<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>For chargers running <strong>software version 6.11 or higher<\/strong>, the Bluetooth PIN is active by default, and <strong>required<\/strong> to connect with your charger.<\/p>\n\n<p>This applies to all <strong>Pulsar Max<\/strong> and <strong>Pulsar Pro<\/strong> chargers produced after August 1st, 2025.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-optional-pin\"><strong>Optional PIN<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>For other chargers, the Bluetooth PIN is an <strong>optional<\/strong> enhanced security feature. If you wish to use this functionality, you need to:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-update-your-charger-to-software-version-6-7-17-or-higher\">Update your charger to <strong>software version 6.7.17 or higher<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-ensure-your-wallbox-app-is-updated-to-the-latest-version\">Ensure your Wallbox app is updated to the latest version.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-understanding-and-using-the-bluetooth-pin\">2. <strong>Understanding and Using the Bluetooth PIN<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Whether the PIN is mandatory or optional for your charger, it works in the same way.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-how-the-pin-works\"><strong>How the PIN Works<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>All chargers that have this functionality enabled are assigned a fixed, 6-digit numeric PIN. This PIN is set automatically by the Wallbox App.<\/p>\n\n<p>You will be prompted to enter this PIN in the different scenarios, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-connecting-to-the-charger-via-bluetooth-with-a-new-device-for-the-first-time\">Connecting to the charger via Bluetooth with a new device for the first time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-reconnecting-after-forgetting-the-charger-in-your-phone-s-bluetooth-settings\">Reconnecting after &#8220;forgetting&#8221; the charger in your phone&#8217;s Bluetooth settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-when-a-new-user-you-have-invited-connects-to-the-charger\">When a new user you have invited connects to the charger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-if-you-switch-to-a-new-phone\">If you switch to a new phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Once your device is paired with your phone (bonded), you will not need to enter the PIN for future connections from that same device.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-installation-and-commissioning\"><strong>Installation and Commissioning<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>During commissioning, when connecting to the charger for the first time, the PIN appears right after scanning the QR code on the sticker.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"565\" height=\"566\" src=\"https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-206977\" style=\"width:455px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3.png 565w, https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3-50x50.png 50w, https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3-60x60.png 60w, https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/image-3-100x100.png 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-how-to-find-your-bluetooth-pin-in-the-wallbox-app\">3. <strong>How to Find Your Bluetooth PIN in the Wallbox App<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>If you need to enter the PIN to pair a new device, the Wallbox app will display it on the screen to guide you. Five failed attempts in one minute will trigger the brute force attack protection that will make the charger unavailable for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-how-to-enable-this-functionality-if-it-is-not-activated-by-default-in-your-charger\">4. <strong>How to enable this functionality if it is not activated by default in your charger<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-update-your-charger-and-wallbox-app-to-the-latest-version\">Update your charger and Wallbox app to the latest version.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-open-the-wallbox-app-and-connect-to-your-charger-if-prompted-accept-the-pairing-request-to-link-with-the-device\">Open the Wallbox app and connect to your charger. (If prompted, accept the pairing request to link with the device). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-a-pop-up-will-appear-prompting-you-to-set-up-the-bluetooth-passcode\">A pop-up will appear, prompting you to set up the Bluetooth Passcode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-after-applying-the-passcode-the-bluetooth-connection-will-be-temporarily-interrupted\">After applying the Passcode, the Bluetooth connection will be temporarily interrupted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-when-reconnecting-you-must-enter-the-pin-to-establish-the-bluetooth-connection\">When reconnecting, you must enter the PIN to establish the Bluetooth connection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXfEaJqksAd1wZpxhEldohl1YSYvSiYBXN2oAWf0AXHIGrOs32_njm1lskX9HfRVwLbZoVHsxR4NmVWfjETOw45xI16G8lm5Jhot2IgzBjlKZ2sqLwcykVWOX1n1fv8XnB05bnC0?key=UVH_UjoHbBEBrF5h27PqDQ\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-frequently-asked-questions-faqs\">5. <strong>Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>This can happen if your Wallbox app is not updated. Please update your app to the latest version to retrieve and use the PIN.<\/p>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>What if I forget my PIN?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p id=\"htoc-your-pin-is-always-available-to-view-in-the-wallbox-app-it-will-appear-on-the-connection-screen-when-needed-and-can-be-found-permanently-in-the-charger-info-page\">Your PIN is always available to view in the Wallbox app. It will appear on the connection screen when needed and can be found permanently in the &#8220;Charger Info&#8221; page.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong><strong>Can I change my PIN?<\/strong><\/strong><\/summary>\n<p id=\"htoc-for-software-versions-6-11-or-higher-the-pin-can-be-modified-by-the-user-all-pulsar-max-and-pulsar-pro-chargers-produced-after-august-1st-2025-allow-this-to-change-the-pin-access-the-charger-information-page-on-the-wallbox-app\">For software versions 6.11 or higher, the PIN can be modified by the user. All Pulsar Max and Pulsar Pro chargers produced after August 1st 2025 allow this.
