How to add a charger to your myWallbox account

Have full control of your charging experience, collecting charger session information, statistics, consumption, users, etc. using the Wallbox app and the myWallbox portal.

Introduction

Wallbox always wants to provide its customers the best products, services and user experience. A very important part of this user experience is the Wallbox app and the myWallbox portal.

Both the app and the portal allow the customer to have full control of their charging experience, collecting charger session information, statistics, consumption, users, etc. This allows all our customers to have full management of their energy consumption and cost savings related to electric vehicle adoption.

Add a charger through Wallbox App:

Below you will find the instructions showing how to add a charger through the Wallbox app. Before starting, please make sure you have the latest version of the Wallbox app downloaded on your phone by checking your mobile phone’s App Store or Play Store.

In order to enable this functionality, it is a must that your cell phone has internet connection . You don’t have to be close to the charger to follow this process, and the charger can be turned off or not even installed yet.

  1. Open the Wallbox app.
  2. If you are not automatically logged in, please fill in your credentials:
  1. Once logged in, click “I already have a charger”.
  1. The “Add Charger” menu will appear. Enter the Serial Number and UID (Unique Identification Number) of the charger. This information can be found on the charger’s installation manual and on the label that is on the outer surface of the charger.
  1. Once this process is finished, your charger will appear in your “List of chargers” menu.

Add a charger through myWallbox portal:

Below you will find the instructions showing how to add a charger through the myWallbox portal. Remember that the supported browsers for myWallbox portal are Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Remember that to add a charger through the portal you must have a Standard or Business MyWallbox account subscription.

Before starting, please make sure your computer is connected to the internet. You do not have to be close to the charger to follow this process, and the charger can be turned off or not even installed yet.

  1. First of all, login into the myWallbox portal (https://my.wallbox.com/login) and fill in your credentials:
  1. Once logged in, you will access the portal’s main menu. In the menu select “Chargers”, then “Add a new charger”:
  1. An “add charger” pop-up will appear. Fill in both the Serial Number and UID (Unique Identification Number) and press “accept”. A pop-up message will appear notifying that your charger has been added successfully.
  1. Then the charger appears automatically in your list of chargers.
