To check the exact software version available for your charger, always refer to the Software Update section in the Wallbox App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-understanding-bridge-versions\">3.3. <strong>Understanding Bridge Versions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-11111\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For chargers running older software versions (earlier than 5.17.X), a <strong>bridge version<\/strong> is required to access the latest updates. This means your charger will need to undergo <strong>two updates<\/strong> to reach the newest software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: The bridge version is fully functional, so you can use your charger normally. After the first update, you might notice a pending update notification\u2014this is just the second part of the update process waiting to be completed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Online Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When updating your charger online, this process is automatic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li id=\"htoc-first-update-the-charger-updates-to-an-intermediary-software-version\"><strong>First Update:<\/strong> The charger updates to an intermediary software version.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"htoc-second-automatic-update-upon-restarting-the-charger-will-automatically-attempt-to-update-to-the-final-target-version-without-any-action-needed-from-you\"><strong>Second Automatic Update:<\/strong> Upon restarting, the charger will automatically attempt to update to the final target version without your action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If the charger loses connectivity or the update doesn\u2019t complete, it will remain on the bridge version.
