How to set Pay Per Charge billing solution to make your chargers public-useable?

With a Business Plan subscription, you can bill for the use of your Wallbox chargers and manage all payments made by your users via the myWallbox portal. You can choose to bill your users per month or per charge and assign a specific rate to each charger.

The Pay per Charge billing solution allows any person who has a myWallbox account to use your charger(s) by scanning their QR code. They are billed immediately after the charge, according to the rate you configured.

Follow the steps detailed in the following articles to set up one or more chargers for Pay per Charge billing solution:

To carry out the steps above, you must be the Super-Admin of your Space.

Once you created a myWallbox account and added your charger(s) to your account, you must:

  1. Subscribe to a Wallbox Business Plan.
  2. Create and connect your Stripe account in the myWallbox Portal.
  3. Create Pay per Charge rate(s) and assign them to your charger(s).

Installation requirements

Internet connection

For proper usage of your charging structure, it is very important to understand that users will only be able to unlock a charger if both the app and the charger have an internet connection
Note that this system requirement makes the solution restrictive for certain types of installation scenarios. Nevertheless, these restrictions are necessary to ensure the security of authentications via the myWallbox cloud.

MID metering
