How to create and manage scheduled charging sessions with the myWallbox app?

You can manage scheduled charging sessions for your charger with the myWallbox app anytime while close to your charger using Bluetooth or remotely through Wi-Fi.

Remember, if your charger is locked when you connect your EV, the scheduled charging session will not be able to start.

1. How to create a scheduled charging session

  1. To ensure that the steps below run smoothly, please ensure that your charger and app are running the latest version available (you can check the app version in your Play Store or App Store and the software version in the Release Notes section).
  2. Log in to the myWallbox app.
  3. Select your charger from the list.
  4. Ensure you stay in your charger’s Bluetooth range and wait until the Bluetooth connection between the app and the charger is established.
  5. Tap +Add schedule.
  6. Define the start/end times, the day(s) and the occurrence(s) the scheduled charging session should occur. Tap Add schedule to validate.
    1. Your schedule is ready and will now display on the control screen of your charger under “Upcoming schedule”. You will receive a notification on your smartphone 10 minutes before the scheduled charge begins.

Your scheduled charging session is correctly created.

If you connect your car and a scheduled charge is about to start, your charger’s LED will blink in turquoise and start charging your vehicle at the scheduled time.

2. How to delete a scheduled charging session

  1. Once connected to the myWallbox app, select your charger from the list.
  2. Wait until the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection is established.
  3. Tap “Upcoming schedule“.
  4. Select the scheduled charge you want to delete.
  5. Tap “DELETE” at the bottom of the screen and validate your choice in the confirmation pop-up that appears.
  6. Your scheduled charge is now deleted.

3. How to modify a scheduled charging session

  1. Once connected to the myWallbox app, select your charger from the list.
  2. Wait until the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection is established.
  3. Tap “Upcoming schedule“.
  4. Select the scheduled charge you want to modify.
  5. You can directly manage the date/time of your scheduled charge.
  6. Tap “SAVE” to keep the changes.

FAQs

Will my scheduled charge starts even if I connect my EV later?
Yes, the scheduled charge will start automatically as long as you plug your EV during the time range of a programmed charge, regardless of the scheduled charge’s starting time.
Can I have several charges scheduled by other users and myself?
Yes, if you share your charger with other people, you will all be able to see and schedule charges for the charger.
Will a scheduled charge start if my charger is locked?
No, your charger must be unlocked to allow a scheduled charge to start. Be sure to unlock your charger before!
